The fourth general assembly of the iToBoS project
The iToBoS project aims to create an intelligent 3D scan to enable early detection of melanoma. This project brings together many institutional and organizational partners. There are 19 partners working together for iToBoS across Europe. The project will last four years and started on April 1st 2021. In order to make this project possible, 12 million euros have been allocated to all partners. This grant was issued by the European Commission. Indeed, iToBoS won one of the 5 places of the Horizon prize, among 150 participants.

March 8th, 2023 marks our 4th anniversary. As in previous years, the day was celebrated with the participation of various partners who are dear to us.
Employees and guests gathered in the company’s premises, which were transformed for the occasion into a festive space accompanied by appropriate decoration and a gourmet buffet.

Notre expérience de La Mêlée Numérique
Cet événement, qui se tient chaque année à Toulouse, en France, rassemble des passionnés de technologie, des innovateurs et des leaders de l’industrie de toute l’Occitanie et de la France. Notre parcours à La Mêlée Numérique comprenait une session de pitch à “Meet the Big” et une table ronde stimulante, dont le sujet était “Innovation et IA au service des patients et du personnel de santé”, où notre directeur Zung Nguyen avait un siège.

Sous les projecteurs de la dynamique scène toulousaine de l’innovation, Torus AI rejoint fièrement les rangs des lauréats reconnus dans le plan d’investissement France 2030. La visite du président français Emmanuel Macron marque l’étape des deux ans du plan, en mettant l’accent sur les réalisations et en fixant de nouveaux objectifs, en particulier dans le domaine difficile de la décarbonisation de l’aviation.

Torus presents article at PFIA 2024
PhD Marianne Defresne and PhD Paul Fricker from Torus presented their article on the explainability of their skin lesion classification AI at the PFIA 2024 Health & AI Day. PFIA, which stands for Plate-Forme Intelligence Artificielle, is an annual event for AI researchers in France.
