MEET THE TEAM

In early 2024, Torus boasted a workforce of 35 individuals in France, complemented by many esteemed external collaborators.

Our team predominantly comprises individuals with a strong scientific foundation, holding either a PhD or an engineering degree.

Beyond our core scientific cohort, members of Torus possess diverse expertise, including MBAs and additional Master’s degrees in fields such as pharmacy, biology, and medical equipment. Notably, a subset of our team boasts medical doctorates. Leading Torus are individuals of exceptional academic standing, with both our President and CEO having held prestigious roles as Distinguished Professors of Mathematics.

Functioning primarily as an R&D hub, Torus houses four distinct teams: Skin AI, AI Product Engineering, Signal Processing, and TorusLab, collectively constituting over 80% of our workforce, while the business division accounts for the remaining 20%.

Though predominantly youthful, our team embodies a youthful spirit across all levels of seniority. Embracing our French heritage, Torus also proudly reflects a rich international character, drawing talent from 10 different countries spanning Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

Beyond our professional endeavours, Torus fosters a vibrant culture of camaraderie and leisure.

Our team engages in a variety of recreational activities, including sports, gym sessions, dining experiences, concert outings (as sponsors of “Les Grands Interprètes” in Toulouse), beach excursions, and more, strengthening our bonds beyond the workplace.
