We are seeking an intern to work on the preparation, validation, and testing of AI modules that are essential to our projects. This internship provides a unique opportunity for individuals with a strong background in mathematics, statistics, and Python, even if they have limited experience in AI model programming.
Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for preparing the pipelines and conducting validation and testing for one or several AI modules (depending on time), for which we currently lack validation and test analysis. This role will involve the following tasks:
1. Select AI Modules: Collaborate with our AI experts to identify specific AI modules that need validation and testing for projects.
2. Pipeline Preparation: Develop the data pipelines necessary for testing the selected AI modules. This may involve data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data augmentation.
3. Validation and Testing: Conduct rigorous validation and testing, including statistical analysis, to assess the performance of the AI modules. Key metrics may include test set statistics, level of imbalance on the training-testing set, top-k accuracy, recall, AUROC, and other relevant performance metrics.
4. Documentation and Reporting: Document the methods, results, issues encountered, and solutions found during the validation and testing process. Prepare comprehensive test reports.
5. Model Improvement: Collaborate with the AI team to refine and improve the AI models based on the results of the tests.
Requirements
- Current student with a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in AI model programming is a plus but not mandatory.
- Good mathematical skills.
Working conditions and compensation
